The flood that once affected 11 RTs in Kuningan Barat Urban Village, Mampang Prapatan Sub-district, South Jakarta, has completely receded this morning.

Kuningan Barat Urban Village Head, Isno Usnodo said, the flood was caused by heavy rainfall and the overflow of Krukut and Mampang rivers.
"Water began flooding residents' homes last night around 10:44 PM," he expressed, Tuesday (7/8).

According to him, 35 PPSU personnel were deployed to help residents clean up remaining mud and trash, especially on Jalan Poncol Jaya, which was quite severely affected.
"Roads and residential areas will soon be cleaned up, thus residents can resume normal activities and prevent further flooding," he explained.
One of the locals, Muhammad Derry (27), said the flood that occurred receded quickly as the rain subsided.
"By early dawn, the water had subsided. We were also very grateful for the PPSU personnel' actions in helping residents clean up the environment after the flood," he stated.
